VIV Europe focuses on the livestock industry
Every 4 years, VIV Europe brings together the global gathering of the Feed to Food industry for the production and processing of poultry meat, eggs, pork, beef, fish and dairy products. About 600 exhibitors from 47 countries and about 25,000 visitors from 144 countries are expected to mark their presence this edition. As Europe is one of the most developed markets in terms of food quality standards, new consumer trends and advanced production technologies, VIV Europe is the ideal exhibition to present innovations in animal production to an audience global.
Alongside the exhibition, VIV Europe 2022 invites animal husbandry experts from around the world to share their knowledge and cutting-edge solutions during the exhibition. New concepts, future directions and market trends will be widely discussed and stimulated on this global platform. More than 100 technical conferences and seminars will be led by high-level speakers to share inspiring ideas with professional participants. Exhibitors will be invited to be part of this exciting program with their cutting-edge presentations and topics.
VICTAM International co-located
As announced earlier this year, VIV Europe 2022 will be co-located with VICTAM International at the Jaarbeurs exhibition center in Utrecht. The combination of these 2 shows brings added value to all attendees from the feed production equipment, feed milling, feed handling and storage, compound feed, ingredients and food additives. VIV Europe’s Feed to Food concept, together with VICTAM’s strong network in the field of feed technology and feed processing, will provide a comprehensive platform for exhibitors and visitors.
Most of the exhibitors present at VIV Europe offer solutions for multiple animal species, poultry and pigs in the lead. While a significant section is dedicated to aquaculture and another to dairy production with strong support from key global partners, VIV Europe also represents the world’s #1 poultry event. This is where the poultry and egg industries like to gather and showcase the most inspiring and groundbreaking solutions. The role of the Netherlands and Europe in developing the poultry sector for higher quality standards and production efficiency is recognized worldwide. All players in the layer poultry and broiler industry should register their schedule and ensure to attend VIV Europe 2022.
Global and local
At each edition, VIV Europe presents a flagship subject reflecting one of the trending topics of the moment. This year, the focus will be on the synergy between local food production and global supply chains. A special section will be devoted to this theme in hall 9 of VIV Europe with the aim of accelerating the discussion on the global expertise required to stimulate local practices in a sustainable way. The market suggests how current and future trends in feeding, rearing and hatching, husbandry, health and nutrition, egg slaughter, handling and processing may lead to the development of a supply chain with fewer links. He emphasizes that the interaction between consumers and farmers is just as important as the interaction within the supply chain.
