Sanjeev Khosla is Breeding Director of Punjab


MOHALI: Dr Sanjeev Khosla, here today at the breeding complex in sector 68, has taken over as director of breeding of Punjab. The regular appointment orders were issued on April 19 by Additional Chief Secretary Sh VK Janjua, after approval by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Minister of Animal Husbandry Sh Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa.

The breeding department has had no regular manager since Dr HS Sandha retired on June 30, 2017.
. Dr Khosla is the most senior manager of the department and has varied experience at headquarters and recently worked as co-director (animal health).
After joining, Dr Khosla said his top priority would be disease prevention, increasing milk production through selective breeding, disseminating information on the latest management techniques through extension, ‘increase in the incomes of pastoralists and especially the implementation of policies and programs of the government of Punjab. He added that he would strive to bridge the gap between the lab and the earth, as research at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Ludhiana University of Animal Sciences would only then be fruitful for the benefit of the parties. stakeholders.
