New buying guide for Inlon orchard and vineyard tractors | Weekly farm
Inlon Landini product specialist Max Allan has condensed his more than 43 years in the specialist tractor industry into a buyer’s guide to vineyard and orchard tractors.
The guide provides information on key issues to consider when purchasing a new tractor.
âThe Vineyard-Orchard Tractor Buying Guide will be useful to any producer who realizes that choosing a tractor has long term costs and benefits,â said Mr. Allan.
âVineyard and orchard operators have different spraying requirements with varying soil conditions, planting configurations and chemical costs.
âThe Vineyard-Orchard Tractor Buyer’s Guide helps you determine what is most essential for your specific setup.
âIt covers factors such as PTO speed, engine performance, ground speed, tractor dimensions, cab characteristics, hydraulics, linkage, transmission, braking, l ergonomics and cost of ownership.
âInlon has also released the Vine-Orchard Tractor Comparison Tool so you can compare what’s available from a tractor specialist like Landini and others.
âThe tool allows you to identify what is important to you and make your own independent comparisons with other tractors,â Mr. Allan said.
Landini is the distributor for a number of brands of agricultural machinery, including Landini and Tym tractors, and is based on the central coast of NSW.
