“Livestock will eradicate unemployment”
Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar addressing the 38th State Level Livestock Expo held in Bhiwani today announced the doubling of the drug budget of the Department of breeding. He added that those selling fake milk in the state would not be tolerated. Other programs will be carried out to improve the breed of dairy animals and, by promoting animal husbandry, efforts will be made to eradicate unemployment and increase the incomes of farmers in the state.
Khattar said that being a farmer himself, he understands the pain and grief of farmers. Farmer’s income is also declining due to less land share ownership. This is why efforts are made by the government to increase the income of farmers. He said from the stage that the problems can be many, their solution is only one. While calling on farmers to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, the prime minister said the government would soon hold a major zero-budget farming conference.
By connecting the agricultural sector to science and new technologies, the farmer’s expenses can be reduced. Apart from this, we can make the land fertile by using manure manure, cow urine etc. The government will launch an active campaign to reinforce the concept of zero-budget farming.
He said many loan and grant programs are underway to encourage allied agricultural enterprises like beekeeping, dairy, mushroom production, etc. to increase the farmer’s income. By involving young people in these programs, efforts are made to reduce unemployment.
