Livestock Department sets up free cattle medical camps – Latest News – The Nation

NAWABSHAH – Livestock and Animal Husbandry Department, Shaheed Benazirabad has treated dozens of cattle and given free vaccinations to hundreds of them at free camps set up in Hamzo Jatoi village of Sakrand tehsil and Kernel Stop from Daur tehsil. The camps were set up on the directives of Provincial Minister of Livestock and Fisheries Engineer Abdul Bari Patafi, Secretary of Livestock Tameezuddin Khero, DG of Livestock Dr Nazir Hussain Khero and Director from Sindh breeding Dr Hezbollah Bhutto. Deputy Director of Animal Husbandry and Husbandry, SBA, Dr. Aijaz Hussan Laghari led the teams of veterinarians who treated and vaccinated the animals in the medical camps. Livestock owners also received free medicines and vaccines. Veterinarian Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Soomro, Dr. Tariq Noorani, Dr. Abdul Qayoom Khanzada, Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Rind and other veterinary doctors were among the veterinary teams. Addressing livestock owners, the minister said a series of free camps would be set up to prevent animal diseases following recent rains. He urged the general public to make the most of these free camps. Trade union council chairman Soomar Khan Jamali, Qurban Arain and other livestock owners thanked the Livestock Department for organizing free medical camps to treat their livestock at their doorstep.
