Khattar: Livestock scientists’ new research will benefit livestock owners
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said on Sunday that new research work being carried out by scientists in the field of animal husbandry, especially in the area of preparing new varieties of buffaloes, would benefit the ranchers and farmers nationwide.
Khattar said this during a press conference in Hisar on Sunday. “Scientists have done extensive research on cloning and increasing milk production for the past 6-7 years and they have succeeded. We asked scientists to try this experiment outside of the lab so that people, especially ranchers, can get the most out of like a good amount of milk from buffaloes. This would encourage the White Revolution and strengthen the economic condition of the ranchers”.
Responding to a question regarding the construction of the runway at Hisar airport, Khattar said, “The construction works of the runway at Hisar airport would soon be completed. After that, the flight schedule will be ready. Pilot training, aviation projects and defense projects will soon be launched at the airport. The decision will be made once the feasibility study for the elevated airport road is completed”.
