Bharat Certis AgriScience launches a planting campaign for the company’s CSR initiatives

Bharat Certis AgriScience Ltd., a Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Japan group company and a leading crop protection products company has launched its village awareness initiative under corporate social responsibility (CSR) in Madhya Pradesh.

Plantation walk:

Deputy Director Agriculture, Agar Malwa, Anil Kumar Tiwari today planted a Baheda tree (Terminalia belarica) in the village of Pacheti, Taluka Nalkhera of the district of Agar Malwa (MP) and inaugurated the tree planting campaign organized by the company. On this occasion, more than 100 trees were planted in the village. The company will carry out this program in 4 other villages and will plant around 400 other trees.

Speaking on this occasion, Anil Kumar Tiwari underlined the role of trees in soil conservation and the fight against pollution. He advised farmers on soil health management and the selection of good seeds. He congratulated the company on this noble initiative and assured his full support for the farmer-oriented programs under this project.

Bharat Certis AgriScience has adopted 5 villages in MP:

The company has adopted 5 villages in MP as part of its CSR program. In addition to planting trees, the company will strive to provide expert training to farmers on best farming practices and the safe use of pesticides. It will also take initiatives related to the health of the villagers and the education of children. Other projects will be added from time to time depending on local needs.

Highlights of the event:

The meeting was attended by senior scientists from Krishi Vigyan Kendra-Agar Malwa, Dr RPS Shaktawat and Dr Rupendra Khandwe. They also gave helpful advice to farmers and distributed Moringa plants and KVK vegetable seeds free of charge.

The program was chaired by AVP, Bharat Certis AgriSciences Ltd., SS Jawla. Other company managers LKTyagi, Vinod Sikarwar, Sudhanshu Srivastava and Rakesh Kumar Nirmal contributed to the execution of the entire event.

This meeting brought together more than 250 farmers beneficiary villages Pacheti and neighboring villages. The farmers were satisfied with the social initiatives taken by the company and felt that they will contribute to the well-being of the region.
